She was bestowed the Civic Award at the Merchant’s 23rd Annual Champagne Reception to Honor Pioneer and Civic Award Winners. Each year, the organization honors and celebrates the outstanding professional achievements of three illustrious Wise Women of Italian heritage. Past honorees have included Donna Corrado, Ph.D., LCSW, Commissioner, NYC Department for the Aging; Roma Torre, NY1 Mid-Day Anchor and Chief Theatre Critic; and Maria T. Vullo, Superintendent of the New York State Department of Financial Services.
