David Goldfarb recently co-authored an article with Richard A. Weinblatt, published in Bloomberg Law, explaining New York State’s new Power of Attorney effective as of June 13, 2021.  David Goldfarb is Grimaldi Yeung Law Group’s new “of counsel”. He was instrumental in drafting the changes to the Power of Attorney Law, which makes the process of executing and using a Power of Attorney easier for the lay person. The new Power of Attorney law also requires financial institutions in New York State to accept the state’s statutory form or face sanctions.
