Angela Choy is a long-time staff member of Grimaldi Yeung Law Group LLP. After several years of experience at an established Brooklyn-based Medicaid HMO, she began her career with us as a paralegal on our Medicaid Team. She ably coordinated the application process for our clients who needed care in their home, in a nursing home, or in an assisted living residence. She also helped families and caregivers through the Medicaid application process with assessments, asset transfers, and other Medicaid requirements. She was always calm and organized, and enjoyed working with the families to navigate the complex Medicaid application process from beginning to end.

In addition to handling the firm’s Medicaid application, she also coordinated related administrative functions of the office. Angela is the ultimate team player!

In recognition of her organizational skills, attention to details, and focus on clients’ needs, the firm promoted Angela to the role of Office Administrator in 2023. Her leadership and high standards are evident in the level of client service she models for the staff. Angela assures that client requests are promptly completed and provides the staff with the training and support to keep the law firm functioning and running smoothly. The law firm is fortunate to have Angela Choy as our Office Administrator.

When Angela is not devoting her time to the office, she spends quality time with her children and family.

Angela is a bit of a foodie and loves exploring NYC to find the best restaurants to eat. If you name a cuisine and neighborhood, she will be able to tell you which restaurants to try out. She is especially familiar with all the restaurants in Flushing, Queens where she grew up and where she earned B.A. in Psychology from Queens College.
